Medical experts say economic recession affecting Nigerians mentally!

The worrying mental toll Nigerians are currently facing due to the rehabilitation effect of recession which has gripped the country in the last two years has been brought to the notice of the federal Government!
     A group of family physicians under the umbrella of the society of family physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON) brought the notice to the federal government at a world family physician day seminar held at the Eko hospital in Lagos.
    The group informed that over seven million Nigerians are living with depression caused more by economic hardship which has seen a rise in suicide attempts in recent times.
